2019 VICSWIM BOOKINGS ARE OPEN

The time to dive in and secure a spot in the 2019 VICSWIM Summer Kidz Program has arrived with bookings for the renowned school holiday program open from October 22.

There are over 140 locations running VICSWIM programs throughout the state, providing a world-class aquatic program for over 11,000 young Victorians aged from 4 to 12 years.

In its 43^rd year in 2019, the VICSWIM program has been providing vital aquatic education and survival techniques to children for decades, seeking to ensure that Victorian children are suitably skilled to handle any situation in pools or open waterways in a safe and enjoyable manner.

Aquatics and Recreation Victoria CEO Grant Connors said he was excited about the 2019 instalment of the VICSWIM program.

“With record registrations expected and a $1.2m commitment over three years from the Victorian State Government announced earlier this year, we expect the 2019 VICSWIM program to be the most successful program we’ve seen to date,” Connors said.

“Our mission is to ensure kids respect the water and enjoy swimming, be that in a pool, at the beach or in open waterways, but to do so safely and we are extremely proud of the program in place to ensure these objectives are achieved.

“We thank the Victorian State Government for its financial commitment and support of the program, enabling us to continue to keep young Victorian children safe in and around water,” Connors added.

The 2019 program dates are;

Week 1: Jan 7th -11^th, 2019
Week 2: Jan 14th -18^th, 2019
Week 3: Jan 21st -25^th, 2019
