VICSWIM Coordinator Position

Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) is Victoria’s peak industry body for aquatics and recreation and facilitates industry development, research opportunities, special projects, provides high level strategic advice to local and state government on industry matters and aquatic and recreation facility design and stages a high profile industry awards evening and conference.
An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and dynamic industry professional to join ARV as its VICSWIM Summer Kidz Coordinator.
As the VICSWIM Summer Kidz Coordinator you will use your organisational and well developed inter-personal skills to further develop, promote and coordinate this highly regarded and state government supported community aquatic education and water safety program. You will apply your experience in delivering similar aquatic programs, across multiple sites, to grow this valued VICSWIM Summer Kidz program, enhancing the community’s opportunity to participate in low cost aquatic education and water safety.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification, experience in delivering aquatic education and water safety programs, knowledge of the aquatic and recreation industry, display initiative, well developed communication skills and an ability to nurture on-going relationships. As the position involves travel, a current driver’s licence is required.
