Announcement: Next Wave Extended
Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) is excited to announce the Next Wave Program has been extended to December 2023.
We extend our thanks to Jobs Victoria for their continued support and investment in the future of our industry. This means we’re able to continue supporting the industry’s recruitment and training of Swim Teachers, Lifeguards, CSOs and Duty Managers right into summer.
We’ve already supported more than 149 facilities across Victoria to employ 296 people in aquatics roles, including people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, people over 45 years of age, veterans, and people living with a disability.
This opportunity is an exciting one – the pathways for employers to access funding are tailored to work with existing systems and processes, to ensure there are great outcomes for jobseekers and employers alike.
If you’d like to discuss how the Next Wave Program can help you, please book a time with Sami Yeomans, our Industry Recruitment and Engagement Officer.
