Next Wave Case Study: Kurt

Next Wave Case Study: Kurt
Kurt is a passionate and enthusiastic pool lifeguard, employed with WynActive at Aquapulse.
Kurt arrived in Australia less than a year ago. He felt overwhelmed as it was not easy to find a job without having any work experience in the country. One of his family members told him about the Next Wave program, so he decided to submit an expression of interest as he loves working in this environment. He had experience working as a lifeguard in the US, so he felt comfortable applying as it is something that he loves.
Working with Marta, WCIG Employment Consultant, Kurt was equipped with the skills to demonstrate his qualities and strengths. Marta helped him to go through the process and after his interview at Aquapulse, he was offered a role as a Pool Lifeguard.
Kurt completed his qualifications, and he is very grateful to ARV and WCIG for the support. He is greatly enjoying working as a lifeguard and is looking into expanding his skills into swim teaching this summer.
