Bon Leisureâ„¢ developing managers in many ways.
Published Fri 08 Mar 2019
- Bon Leisure™ developing managers in many ways.
Bon Leisure is a business providing management consultancy to over 40 major sport aquatic, recreation and sports centres in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. These are, in the main, aquatic, recreation, golf, stadia and health & fitness clubs. This includes consultancy and management services into the largest aquatic and sports centres in Australia.
Bon Leisure™ main focus is developing managers in the recreation and aquatic venues. To this end they have long term contracts to provide monitoring, feedback and training to the managers. A natural progression of this is their involvement in delivering the ARV’s Recreation Aquatic Management Program (RAMP), a national and residential training program for the senior aquatic recreation centre managers, with international instructors.
Our industry is in constant expansion and the development of managers is vital. Whilst there are contract management companies providing full contract management services, Bon Leisure™ has in place agreements with local government organisations to provide “The Manager” with daily support from their inhouse resources. This gives the owners full control of their centre with the expertise and support of industry experts.
Bon Leisure™ operates across Australia and offers opportunities for travel and out-of-state management experiences. Michael Ryle, Bon Leisure™ CEO says “There is much evidence that the modus operandi of aquatic recreation facilities is quite different from state to state; for those that travel it can only broaden and improve their knowledge and skills”
Interstate experiences can only improve our management talent in Victoria and is worth considering.
Currently, Bon Leisure™ has an opportunity for a centre manager/consulting role in Perth and is open to recruit people from Victoria. The position reports directly to Bon Leisure™ CEO and an executive staff at the local council. The position will start in March 2019. Those that are interested in an interstate experience, should contact Michael on 0430 78 5544, now!
