Become a Lifeguard
As a Lifeguard at an Aquatics facility, you ensure the safety and wellbeing of patrons in and around the water.
AS A LIFEGUARD, YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE:
- Communicating and connecting with public and members
- Educating public and members
- Pool supervision, ensuring safety of patrons
- Administering First Aid, CPR or Defib as necessary
- General cleaning duties of pool hall
- Incident reports and First Aid forms
- Responding to emergencies and incidents including rescues
- Attend and participate quarterly mandatory training
- Understand and adhere to all OHS policies and procedures
- Identify and report OHS issues
QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL OBTAIN:

HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid (includes CPR)
