Reset and Recovery - Men’s Wellness and Support Webinar
While the habits that build a healthy lifestyle are the same regardless of gender, men face a few unique challenges when it comes to their health and wellness. Many Aussie men are struggling with issues such as burnout, stress, addiction and lack of emotional support. Along with the unfortunate perception that ‘wellness’ is only for women.
Join men’s Health expert Dean Beattie from Reset Wellness
We’re talking about helping men get mentally strong, emotionally fit and find a happier balance in life
We’re talking about addressing health issues, finding better coping mechanisms, and helping men realise that real wellness exists beyond bulging biceps.
Some of the topics we will cover include:
- Men's physical Health: The Big 5: heart disease, stroke, prostate and lung cancer and suicide.
- Men's mental health: Anxiety, depression and the suicide epidemic
- “Toxic Masculinity“ what is it, the changing climate and what it means.
- Positive Psychology is the new frontier of mental health. What interventions work and how can we use them.
Participants will take away proven solutions to the health issues outlined and insights into changes men can make to lead healthier, happier lives.
