Having Difficult Conversations – Managing Aggressive Behaviour in the Workplace
This training is intended for employees whose jobs require them to deal with unpredictable, challenging, and aggressive behaviour ranging from verbal abuse to physical threats. It is especially suited to front-line employees where customer service is a high priority. This workshop will enable you to understand the factors that may lead to the aggressive behaviours. It will outline appropriate de-escalation techniques
The workshop will cover:
- What is occupational violence?
- Develop an understanding of aggressive and violent behaviour and what causes it
- Learn about warning signs of aggressive behaviour
- De-escalation techniques
This Workshop Series is delivered through the Partners in Wellbeing Program.
