BUPA and Swim Australia strengthen relationship

Swim Australia has had an Agreement with BUPA for the past few years and it continues to grow stronger BUPA. BUPA recognises all Swim Australia's Member Swim Schools to be able to claim rebates. Please note, with any of the Health Funds, swimming lessons do not automatically qualify for rebates. They need to be prescribed as part of a health 'treatment' by an appropriate professional (eg Doctor). The Swim Australia Office can advise your BUPA Provider Number if required.

Learn to Swim Week September 24 - October 2

This message will save lives

Spring is here and young children will be drawn to water.

Last year, Australia had 26 fatal drownings in children under 5.

Hundreds more were admitted to hospital and many of these children were left with life long disabilities as a result of brain injuries.

Backyard swimming pools are the greatest danger.

We all know the Kids Alive - do the five message! And it does save lives.
1. Fence the pool
2. Shut the gate
3. Teach your kids to swim - it's great
4. Supervise - watch your mate
5. Learn how to resuscitate

Take action to save lives!

1. Like Kids Alive - do the five, on Facebook or Instagram
2. Upload a video singing the kids alive jingle to social media
3. #KidsAliveDoTheFive

By taking positive action we can spread awareness and save lives!
